MarineTT workshop “How do we get more innovation from Research? Bringing together and learning from pioneering initiatives and novel approaches” – July 19th, 2012
There are several initiatives (at EC and Member State level) that are attempting to develop improved methodologies, tools and processes for managing and transferring knowledge from RTD.
This workshop is intended to bring together experts from these initiatives in order to provide a forum for an open exchange on the findings coming from these initiatives and to identify common challenges and barriers. In turn, the participants will explore how the research governance system could be improved in order to increase the likelihood of innovation from research outputs.
The expected outcome of the workshop will be a practical set of recommendations on how Horizon 2020 and Member State programmes could potentially overcome barriers to innovation from research through adjustments to the research governance system.
